The role

Responsible for managing; growing and evolving all aspects of our affiliate and portal programs. The VP of Affiliates will lead and grow a team to continuously identify, evaluate affiliates as well as interface with Product Marketing Managers across multiple products. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and Grow our Affiliate/Portal programs as well as affiliate marketing team 

  • Source, evaluate, and recruit new affiliate partners 

  • Monitor affiliate practices and ensure compliance 

  • Maintain and further cement relationships with affiliates and other partners as well as motivate partners to improve campaign performance; maintaining relationships with portal providers 

  • Negotiate and review affiliate advertising agreements (rates, placements, parameters, etc.) 

  • Monitor tracking, delivery and campaign performance on an on-going basis 

  • Provide the Analytics team with insight into channel performance, analyzing program performance, and executing on analysis to ensure client KPIs are being met/exceeded 

  • Optimize buys, renegotiate rates, cancel or renew partnerships, ad buys, etc. as necessary, as well as refresh and optimize creative units and media placements 

  • Work closely with Business Units, Growth Engineering, Product, Marketing to achieve goals

What you’ll need:

  • Successful candidate will be adept at building relationships with clients and affiliate partners, be able to identify opportunities and craft innovative solutions

  • Proficient in translating performance data into actionable insights. 

  • 10+ years of experience in online marketing, including channel management 

  • Experience with partnerships and deal negotiation 

  • Strong analytical skills are a must 

  • Top notch communication skills, both internal and external 

  • Experience in financial services partnerships and affiliate programs 

  • Creative thinker and problem solver
