The Sr Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in providing a financial infrastructure that will drive internal process efficiency, deeper reporting insights, and IPO readiness. These contributions will have a significant impact on the day to day reliability of financial outputs and efficiency within the Finance team and to SoFi leadership
SoFi is looking for a Sr Systems team member to foster a deep partnership and highly productive consultative relationship between IT and internal clients, with a focus on SoFi’s Finance and Accounting business processes. The Sr Financial Systems Engineer will streamline and operationalize processes and provide insights to the senior leaders responsible for the various functions and departments.
This person will ensure that the data is centrally stored and can be reported on in multiple configurations; that the system can be readily accessible to facilitate self service tools to allow leaders to make decisions on a real time basis based on information that is centrally stored. This will require working to (1) understanding the existing systems, (2) working with the finance team to identify the future state, (3) selecting a system that meets the needs of the team based on principles that are co-developed, (4) harmonizing the data and creating an easy to ingest across net suite / host / work day and any other tools that are deployed, (5) allowing for easy to use reporting tools off of the systems that are selected / configured.
What You'll Do:
Partner with and maintain the relationship between Finance and IT to ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining the critical business systems that drive Finance Processes and Operations
Work with Finance and other cross-functional teams to get a deep understanding of the processes and data flows, and translate business requirements into system functional specifications
Build scalable financial systems and processes
Develop planning / reporting modules that help Strategic Finance business partners leverage systems to build Monthly Reporting packages, Budgets, Forecasts, and Long Range Plans.
What You'll Need:
Experience in one of the top systems (Host Analytics, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, TM1 etc)
Strong capabilities in Tableau
Strong experience in building financial systems, integrating across multiple business systems both Finance and Other
5+ years of experience in implementing, business process engineering, upgrade and support of financial systems
Has demonstrated strong leadership skills to drive Financial Systems Projects from requirements to completion partnering with cross functional teams
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant areas
