What You'll Do:

  • Responsibility to analyze, prioritize, and drive key initiatives including expansion into non-US regions across all products

  • Work closely with Finance, Marketing, Risk and other internal teams to monitor results and ensure alignment of SoFi International businesses, and map out  strategy for new initiatives, present recommendations, and drive the execution process 

  • Identify the markets, products and countries that present the biggest opportunity for SoFi, including considerations around the adoption of digital finance in the consumer banking space, competitive market dynamics, partnership opportunities, regulatory requirements, and credit risk considerations  

  • Work directly with Product and Engineering teams, as well as other Business Unit Leaders and Directors, to determine top priorities for new product/service expansion, both in the US and Internationally.  

  • Design and lead new business initiatives, and drive decision making for activity Internationally, including direct partnerships with external banks, financial institutions, and other potential partners

The role will report to the Head of New Business, Treasury & International

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 12+ years of Business Management, Business Strategy or Business Ownership experience in finance and/or technology sector

  • Ability to analyze and prioritize new business opportunities in conjunction with functional business partners to understand resources limitations and constraints

  • Proven track record in designing and executing on a new business plan, including leading decision making process and managing multiple constituents 

  • Strong and clear communication skills, and ability to drive decision making across senior level executives

  • Experience in developing and maintaining external relationships and partnerships 

  • Demonstrated team player with leadership qualities, a growth mindset, and a desire to build a world-class company
