JOB PURPOSE:  

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall coordination of all transient customers by ensuring all maintenance activities are accomplished in a timely manner as per company procedures. The purpose is to ensure operations are continuously supported within a 7 day a week work environment through efficient oversight of all maintenance activities accomplished on transient aircraft. 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate the maintenance of line operations and communicate to the appropriate resource;
• Overview all work performed on the day shift;
• Assign work to line maintenance team every morning;
• Coordinate the work with all departments; interior shops, avionics, sheet metal and NDT;
• Continuous company improvements, creation and implementation;
• Prepare work packages for transient aircraft and AOG’s;
• Coordinate daily maintenance with production;
• Organize and monitor offsite AOG trips;
• Carry out duties as per the appropriate Maintenance Control Manual;
• Prepare all transient customer invoices;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program or equivalent; 
• Valid M2 Transport Canada AME License; 
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience in aircraft maintenance;
• Strong computer skills focused on Microsoft 365 programs;
• Possess a solid understanding of CAR’s;
• Proven experience with planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities;
• Strong Customer service abilities;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Team player.
