As a member of Skip’s Strategic Development team, you will be responsible for data validation, writing SQL and creating & updating Tableau workbooks. Working in an Agile environment you’ll be providing insights to the business and act as the go-to for utilizing data and tools that exist within Skip and leveraging those resources to create organizational efficiencies and deliverables.
Recipe for Success:
Expertise leveraging data and visualization tools including SQL, Excel, and Tableau, among others to present actionable insights
Experienced working with both large and real-time data; and SQL development and performance tuning
Able to interpret and define the data needs of business teams
Worked with Tableau, Amazon Redshift, Google Big Query or other BI tools and/or the data infrastructure. Experience with GIT considered an asset.
Updated ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements
Computer Science or Software Engineering degree
What’s on your plate:
Providing data support to our Canadian Marketplace Teams to provide them with data to inform decisions and execute on initiatives.
Running SQL queries to pull relevant data requests
Updating existing code in the data repository
Working within data visualization tools like Tableau to tell the story within the data to stakeholders
Leverage data to identify trends and information may be useful to stakeholders
