As a member of Skip’s Marketing Team, you will be responsible for creating and developing content in French and English to keep customers engaged with Skip’s brand.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Bilingual Marketing Copywriter will be a dynamic individual driving our brand’s voice across email communications and social content in over 50 North American markets. 

What you’ll be doing:
  • Translate raw information and ideas into fresh, compelling concepts and on-strategy marketing materials that work across channels in both French and English
  • Writing and proofreading copy for integrated marketing communications across channels with primary focus initially on email drip campaigns and push notifications
  • Present and champion finished concepts to cross-functional partners, managers, and directors with a strong ability to ‘sell’ and influence marketing campaigns and brand strategy
  • Stay ahead of new technology, emerging social media platforms, and competitive trends within food and restaurant arenas to inform and innovate copywriting for SkipTheDishes
  • Ensure voice and tone stay consistent across all platforms of communications
  • Critically analyze and translate a creative brief grounded in consumer insights into compelling content that embodies the marketing strategies and objectives

  • An individual with strong attention to detail in proofreading as well as in independently managing their own timelines and collaborating cross-functionally to drive for results
  • Must be fluent in both French and English
  • Ability to issue material quickly without reduced quality
  • In possession of a high degree of conceptual creativity and verbal polish, and considers themselves a natural storyteller
  • Experience proofing layouts and copy to ensure work is aligned with brand personality and overall brand style guide and that proper grammar/spelling is used
