SkipTheDishes is seeking a dedicated and driven individual to join our Restaurants Partnerships team, as VP National Partnerships. This role combines relationship building and sales to create lasting, big picture partnerships at a national corporate level with top restaurants in North America and beyond.

Reporting to the Managing Director for the Canadian Market, and serving as an integral member of the senior leadership team; the VP National Partnerships will be responsible for maintaining and cultivating strategic commercial partnerships with national restaurant brands in accordance with Skip’s organizational strategic objectives. You will directly manage major and critical developing accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.

We’re looking for a skilled individual with a proven track record of expertise in a similar capacity of responsibility. We’re looking for a person who wants to help build a global tech company right here in Canada.

This position can be located in Winnipeg or Toronto

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong and lasting partnerships with corporate restaurant and third party partners
  • Coaching corporate level partners on network best practices
  • Lead a team of National Partnership Managers
  • Build relationships with frequent phone, email and in-person interactions
  • Communicating industry, delivery and SkipTheDishes news to your contacts
  • Gain an in-depth understand of the partners’ overall business needs
  • Increase partners revenue by adding value
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals to secure accounts and contract renewals
  • Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities and set objectives
  • Analyze data and trends
  • Create data visualization and present findings
  • Utilize information resources and relationships with internal teams
  • Build multi-level short, medium and long term strategies for over 100 national and regional partners





People we’re looking for:

  • Minimum ten years experience in a senior management/account management role
  • Previous sales experience with a consumer packaged goods or retail and restaurant organization preferred
  • Expertise in building strategic partnerships with corporate accounts
  • Post-secondary education required in a business related field
  • Experienced professional and communicator with an accomplished track record of driving revenue and increasing market share while developing effective relationships to achieve best results
  • Resolve account concerns, and deliver outstanding service to ensure retention and growth
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, with the ability to make decisions and thrive in a changing environment
  • Excelled in setting goals, motivating, and mentoring teams to surpass customer and organizational expectations
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Excellent customer service techniques to build superior loyalty and sales volumes
  • Highly motivated leader, with a top sense of initiative and a business owner mindset who excels at developing strong interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
