Manager, Delivery Forecasting & Insights

SkipTheDishes is looking for a Manager of Delivery Forecasting & Insights to take our Operations Planning & Coordination team to the next level. As a leader in our Global Operations division, you will play a key role in development and execution of all aspects of our Delivery Forecasting & Insights function.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead the development, operation and improvement of our delivery reporting/analysis framework: backward-looking; explaining outcomes and surfacing insights about business performance.
Lead the development, operation and improvement of our delivery forecasting framework: forward-looking; using retrospective insights to inform quantification of future courier-supply needs.
Support our Finance team in explaining and forecasting financial outcomes related to delivery operations.
Oversee a team of analysts responsible for primary execution of all the above.
Partner with leadership from Global Operations, Marketing, Restaurants, Product & Technology, to supply and receive information for decision-making.
Work alongside other Delivery Planning & Coordination teams to complete supply-side feedback loop: feed forecasting outputs to Scheduling function; receive ground-level operational insights from Delivery Logistics.
Work with our Data & Business Intelligence teams to obtain and manipulate data needed to support analysis.
People we’re looking for:
Are personable, able to work as part of a fast-paced team, and have excellent written and oral communication skills
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a problem-solving / quantitative-analysis function
Have deep experience with data analysis and financial/statistical modeling (mastery of spreadsheets is a must; command of SQL/Tableau and/or other analytical tools is an asset)
Are able to break large, abstract problems down into smaller, finite ones and prioritize effectively in working through them
Have a natural curiosity, with a penchant for original thought and creative problem-solving
Prefer to work independently, and able to manage effectively in all directions on the org chart (down, lateral, up)
Have experience leading analysts and are keen to act as a mentor to an evolving team
Have a strong sense of urgency and are able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
Working knowledge of Six Sigma or other Operations principles/techniques is considered an asset
Are extremely organized and able to influence others to improved ways of working
