The successful candidate will be:

Experience: 

The successful candidate will have experience in:

  • Proven success in delivering initiatives of $4m - $9m; including examples of the creation of System Requirements Specifications, Business Model Canvas, Product Backlog Items, industry-standard process maps and Request for Proposals
  • Leading analysis for a software delivery lifecycle with requirements successfully elicited and communicated between multiple organizations, teams, and governing bodies
  • Proven track record of supporting business transformation programs/change management; securing firm agreement on all sides of the as-is and to-be organizational states and change management best practice
  • Large audience public speaking; structuring complicated communications and seeking feedback to ensure the transfer of knowledge
  • Facilitating structured workshops with Director level participants; enabling contributors to bring their best selves to the discussion and managing conflict
  • Working closely with engineering and product teams in fast-paced product-led businesses
  • Identifying and lobbying opinion-makers to effectively change the opinions of others and assist others in their influencing and persuading activities
  • Leading analysis for multiple teams; establishing and maintaining Business Analysis best practice in others, and synthesizing and reporting on the quantity and quality of analysis work produced by others

Knowledge:

The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of:

  • Commercial and strategic measures of analysis quality
  • Market forces, business models and technology trends, especially within eCommerce
  • The difference between OKRs, metrics, and KPIs
  • The difference between vision, strategy, and objectives
  • Industry recognized elicitation and documentation frameworks, practices and processes and how to tailor them to specific situations
  • The software delivery lifecycle and supporting Agile ceremonies
  • Mobile and web technical composition, considerations and constraints
  • Organizational and individual psychological approaches

Accountable & Responsible for:

The Lead Business Analyst will be accountable for:

  • Aligning work to be done, in progress and for validation to a global OKR and KPI; where appropriate business case
  • Maintaining an extensive and current understanding of stakeholder impact; ensuring stakeholders remain informed and appropriately supported to influence decisions
  • Ensuring prioritization decisions are based on the best available information; maximizing resource efficiency by questioning the value of activities against strategic priorities
  • Ensuring different communication requirements are recognized and respected; translating and documenting information to inform strategic, technical, commercial and casual stakeholders
  • Eliciting, translating and communicating the worldview of internal and external stakeholders so as to inform confident and timely decisions
  • Working within project teams to evaluate technology solutions and to create solutions designs
  • Facilitating and providing leadership in requirements elicitation meetings by using various elicitation techniques such as use case modeling, prototyping, process
