Job Duties:
 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. And conformance to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and OSHA regulation.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Advise and provide guidance to management and employees on environmental health and safety matters
  • Keep up-to-date with new and emerging environmental health and safety regulations and ensure company compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential environmental health and safety risks
  • Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents related to environmental health, safety and work place violence
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on best practices for maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace
  • Monitor and track the number of incident reports and remedies.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure company policies and procedures align with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Foster a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization
  • Collaborate with external consultants and vendors to develop and implement environmental health and safety programs
  • Conduct root causes analyses and share lessons learned across business unit 
  • Conduct ergonomic evaluations and job hazard assessments to identify risk periodically
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills
  • Support any other EHS initiatives and projects as needed
Required Skills:
 
  • Minimum 5years management system experience, ideally in the Workplace environment with EH&S
  • Influential personality with exceptional interpersonal, exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional administrative and record keeping skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or other management systems, such as ISO 45001
  • Exceptional knowledge of local, state, national, and international laws on environmental protection and employee health and safety.
  • Proven track record of providing training support to employees
  • Ability to exercise autonomous judgment within a broad range of policies and practices. This includes systematic problem solving.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills, including action oriented, focused urgency and driving for results
  • Ability to be effective in complex projects with ambiguity and/or rapid change
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize and schedule work to meet business needs
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with others in team environment; effective interactions in cross department teams
  • Computer literacy (PC, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Outlook), experience with Agile a plus
  • Detail orientated, with emphasis on accuracy and completeness
  • An ability to travel 
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position $94,000 - $138,000 . Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related skills and experience. Your Recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
