As the Tax Accountant, you are responsible for, but not limited to: periodic sales and use tax compliance and reporting, resale and exemption certificates verification and registration, internal and external sales and use tax inquiries upon requests, and other taxes and license applications.

As the Tax Accountant, you are responsible for, but not limited to: periodic sales and use tax compliance and reporting, resale and exemption certificates verification and registration, internal and external sales and use tax inquiries upon requests, and other taxes and license applications.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly use tax accruals, sales and use tax work papers and returns filing, and tax payments submission for month-end close.
- Organize, verify, and register resale and exemption certificates on a routine basis.
- Prepare and file federal and state censuses and surveys upon request.
- Prepare state annual reports filing and license application and renewal process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related degree or equivalent work in US indirect tax
- 2-3 years of Tax Experience or equivalent experience in related fields.
- Experienced with US sales and use tax, resale and exemption certificates
- Intermediate understanding of tax compliance standards, gaining experience in researching as it relates to tax issues.
- SAP experience is highly preferred
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills with strong organization skills
- Capable of handling multiple tasks with various due dates
- Supports tax team with other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position $68,000 - $92,000. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related skills and experience. Your Recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. This is Non-Exempt position.
