Shift Digital in Birmingham, Michigan seeks Tagging Business Analysts - Team Leads with minimum of a master’s degree in computer science, management information systems or related plus six (6) months related work experience.  Duties include: Lead requirements gathering efforts for product changes.  Keep project managers up to date on development progress. Supervise team members, including Business Analysts. Create and modify SQL queries to extract data for analyses from Azure SQL Datawarehouse. Build robust dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI to generate actionable insights enabling informed decision making for optimized business and operational performance. Responsible for writing and maintaining technical specification documents that are distributed to partners/vendors and recommend tagging implementation best practices based on well-defined organization standards. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across both website/mobile environments and develop test cases for validating tags of certified providers to ensure specifications are being met. Disseminate business requirements into user stories for software development teams, raise bug tickets and track progress on backlog items via Azure DevOps Boards. Identify defects in tagging implementation by using effective test strategy and quality assurance with business partners. Resolve issues by working closely with external development teams to ensure accuracy in tagging data is maintained. Collaborate with internal account teams, understand their tagging needs, and formulate plans to address those requirements with dynamic tagging solutions. Translate business processes into technical requirements and work closely with third party website and dealer tools providers to execute proprietary Shift Digital tagging code. Track and communicate the implementation progress of certified providers and lead requirements gathering efforts for product changes. Add custom Javascript code snippets to GTM tags and deploy them across multiple automotive dealership sites. Work closely with software developers, data engineers and external vendors on new requirements for data and analytics tracking implementation. Define tagging strategy for robust data collection across Hospitality and Automotive dealership sites using tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch. Deploy third party conversion tracking pixels such as Facebook Conversion Pixels, Google Ads and pass customized data to reporting platforms.  Assist media partners with building URL parameters such that they align with Shift Digital’s tagging standards to capture ad campaign data to use it in reports to provide insights about which campaigns drive the most traffic to sites, and what that traffic is doing once on the site.  Responsible for addressing ad-hoc data requests from Technical Project Managers to comprehend provider performance.
