Requirements for Manufacturing/Production Set-Up Operators:
Will be required to pass Set-Up Battery Test on a computer. Must be able to perform the essential function of the position. Must pass the eye test. Will be required to pass Entry Level, Level I and Level II Skill evaluations within 9 months. Must maintain Skill Level II to stay in the Set-up position
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend to any red-light and startups before mold changes; unless directed otherwise.
- Complete mold changes by obtaining mold from rack, gathering necessary tools and completing the change as instructed by work instructions, to include material changes as necessary
- Complete required paperwork (setup check sheets, mold trouble report, condition sheets, etc.)
- Assist other set-up operators during slow periods
- Report mold problems or questionable conditions to the department leader, coordinator, or supervisor
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow the prescribed safety regulations
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
