Basic Purpose:
Support all lab activities in regards to equipment maintenance, safety, ISO/IATF audit preparation, and training.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience or equivalent in Lab facilities maintenance and equipment calibration.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Technical Certificate


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule and maintain calibrations and records, schedule and follow-up on equipment PM and maintenance, maintain and update GageTrack with equipment information, calibration status, asset number, etc.
  2. 5S Safety walkthrough/report.  Participate in the monthly Safety Walkthrough.  Update the results in the monthly report and follow-up to ensure open items are addressed and closed.
  3. Safety Lead - Assist management in the development of the Quarterly Safety Presentation.  Communicate safety policies to the Testing and Validation team.
  4. Audit and Compliance preparation and support.  Ensure that the Validation team is well prepared for annual internal and external audits, and that all records, skill assessments, procedures, etc. are updated and ready for review.
  5.  Training Lead.  Maintain Validation training records.  Notify Validation associates on required training classes.
  6. Work Instruction Activity.  Coordinate and participate in the Work Instruction Activity.  Ensure associates are assigned a number of work instructions for completion each year, and follow-up on status.
  7. Check on testing.  Monitor testing status regularly and report to management.  Also, monitor equipment usage and report to management on scheduling conflicts.
  8. Update the annual Fixed Asset Inventory, coordinate Fixed Asset management including asset tags, entering service dates, etc.
