Job Title Clerk
Perform a variety of duties concerned with the identification and resolution of the Receiving Cross Dock material. Research on all INBOUND Freight and Domestic that are reported from RM operations floor to have them ship out no later than within 24 hours. Download DS shipment that are delivered in the Mazanillo port of entry for TDC & JMC. Give support to the receiving clerks and with issues that may have to perform daily tasks into receiving material.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate computer terminal, data entry display terminal, printer, radio frequency unit, and other equipment as needed in the work area.
- Ability to communicate via email and by phone to different CSC and MC Planners; issues paperwork to Customs for shipping purposes.
- Creation of all Receiving reports to confirm the Packing list matches the receiving items form that the floor personnel provide to the clerk.
- Identify the paperwork matches physical material receiving so it can be shipped out to the correct CSC, including any issues with Aduanas and Customs.
- Ability to research on RMMS / IPS systems in order to resolve invoice issues created by discrepancies.
- Maintain records, files of all receiving discrepancies and log in proper order as needed.
- Oversee the receiving process to better understand customer needs. Creation of FedEx and UPS labels.
- Support to establish quality system policies and procedures within the operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma along with 0–2 years of clerical experience
- Proficient in the use of computers and various programs including Microsoft Word & Excel as well as PowerPoint.
- A plus: working knowledge of Raw Material receiving, picking and shipping procedures.
- Excellent typing and Data Entry Skills.
- Excellent filling skills.
- At least 6 months’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
