What we’re looking for: 
Sermo is looking for a Deal Desk Analyst to grow its Sales and Sales Operations Team, ino order to drive the quote to cash process. As the Deal Desk Analyst, you will be a critical part of the contracting function: reviewing contracts, managing financial details, and drafting non-standard terms with Legal. The Deal Desk Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional partners to review and improve sales and operational processes, while maintaining critical business, financial, and legal standards. Additionally, the Deal Desk Analyst will get invaluable experience with the back-end development of new Salesforce functionality. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Contract Drafting - partner with Sales to develop and draft complex, non-standard deal structures.
  • Contract Review - review all Sales contracts to ensure they meet all financial, commercial, and operational requirements.
  • Pricing Review and Approvals - manage non-standard discounting/pricing approval process.
  • Deal Management - serve as the key “quarterback” to increase deal velocity while collaborating with key internal stakeholders.
  • Financial Review – serve as the key liaison with the finance department for all invoicing and financial details when closing out deals to ensure fast, accurate invoicing.
  • Contracts Library – maintain the commercial contracts library
  • Reporting - create complex reporting to help Sales manage and forecast the opportunity pipeline.
Skills and Qualifications: 
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Deal Desk Analyst or Sales Operations Analyst.
  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience as a power user.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing contracts, with serious attention to detail.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the digital advertising or health industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills with a history of hands-on, detailed, project completion.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to communication and collaboration
