Role Description:  
 
Sermo Experts provides an outlet for our clients to connect 1:1 with qualified physicians, allied healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders on demand. The Experts program is in the nascent stages of development and requires a day-to-day Operations leader to bring the business to the next level. 
 
As Director/Vice President, you will lead a global team of ~35+ resources spread across Puebla, Barcelona, London, Vilnius, and Dalian reporting through the SVP – Sermo Experts. This is a highly visible position with significant autonomy. You will be responsible for implementing the growth strategy, owning excellence in custom recruitment and network growth, as well as the development of best-in-class client delivery talent. You will also be responsible for liaising with the Commercial and Marketing leadership to enhance our GTM strategy for this evolving product line, in line with Sermo broader business vision.  
 
Desired Skills: 
 
  • 8-10+ years experience leading global operational teams, ideally in an Expert Network, Management Consulting, or Primary Market Research setting.  
  • Intimate understanding of custom recruitment process as well as the various partnership opportunities across the Expert recruiting ecosystem.  
  • Successful track record with people development, including managing managers alongside front-line contributors. You inspire trust, encourage creativity, and foster individual growth.  
  • You are addicted to problem-solving and bring a fresh perspective to challenges.
  • Experience managing change across a global business unit. 
  • Strong understanding of Expert Network Services buyer ecosystem as well as general industry dynamics.  
  • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, both within the business as well as in our client portfolio.
  • Strong commercial acumen – you make informed decisions with commercial health and scalability at the top of your mind.
  • Analytical prowess and data-driven decision making.
  • Proven track record of leading diverse global teams in a high-growth environment. 
  • A player-coach, willing to roll up your sleeves and lead through doing.
 
Must Haves: 
 
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) from accredited university or higher. 
  • Eligibility to work in market for which you’re applying. 
  • English language fluency. Additional language proficiency a BIG plus.  
  • Go-Getter attitude with an unquenchable will to Win. 
  • Experience managing leaders across a global team.
  • Experience working in a high throughput, deadline-driven environment with global blue-chip clients.
