Job Summary: 
 
As the Group HR Systems & Insights Team Lead, you will be responsible in overseeing our HR systems and leveraging data analytics to provide strategic insights that improve the organisation's HR functions. 
 
Reporting to the Head of HR Technology, you will collaborate closely to advance the HR Technology function, which is vital for promoting efficiency and innovation within HR through technological solutions, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals. 
This role would lead a team of HR Systems & Insights Specialists and be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of our HR technology platforms while providing valuable workforce data insights to support decision-making. 
 
You will ensure optimal configuration and use of all systems for the benefit of SEGA HR teams, balancing daily system support with strategic enhancements and projects. You will oversee feature release implementations and system maintenance to meet business needs. 
 
Additionally, you will work closely with the Group HR Operations Lead (and other relevant stakeholders) to ensure smooth operation of all central business processes, keeping them informed about new enhancements and releases affecting daily operations. Your duties will include seeking improvements by analysing queries, managing change controls from our ‘ticketing system’, and adapting to policy and legislative changes. Communicating these enhancements and changes to the wider Group HR Teams will also be part of your role. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead the HR Systems and Insights Specialist in managing and optimising SEGA HR systems, such as Workday and other HR Specialist Systems. 
  • Ensure the HR Systems and Insights Specialist is proficient with the latest advancements in each HR system and its processes. 
  • Develop and promote continuous learning within the team 
  • Support with HR Systems Purchase Orders and Invoicing 
HR Systems 
 
  • Continuously evaluate and optimise HR workflows and processes using system functionalities to improve efficiency, in conjunction with the HR Operations Function, e.g. employee onboarding 
  • Oversee and manage the implementation of new HR updates and enhancements to our HR Systems, making sure they align with current business processes.  
  • Required to work with the HR Systems & Insights Specialist in configuring relevant changes within the HR Systems whether system updates and improvements. 
  • Oversee integrations from our core HR System - Workday, alongside with other HR Specialist Systems and IT systems. 
  • Oversee and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within HR systems through regular audits.  
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation of relevant job aids / guides and cyclical processes are in place 
  • Research and implement HRIS best practices to ensure optimal use of systems and data, alongside with the HR Systems and Insights Specialist 
  • Ensure systems comply with legal requirements, such as GDPR and other data privacy laws. 
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, presenting system capabilities and offering solutions to business challenges. 
Reporting and Insights 
 
  • Oversee the generation and analysis of HR data reports to support decision-making, concerning key performance indicators (KPIs) including headcount, turnover, employee engagement, workforce trends 
  • Compare internal HR metrics with industry benchmarks to provide insights into the organisation's performance relative to peers. 
  • Provide analysis of impacts to reporting based on new releases or updates to system functionality and recommend/apply changes 
 
 
Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills: 
 
  • Leadership and team management – ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring collaboration and goal alignment. 
  • Proficient with HRIS platforms system configuration, maintenance, and integration with other enterprise systems. 
  • Ability to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in HR systems 
  • Proficient in using data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to generate insights and reports. 
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes 
  • Expertise in process improvement and finding innovative solutions to optimize system performance 
  • Experience managing timelines and resources to ensure project success.
