Desired Skills and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

· A strong portfolio: let your work speak for itself

· Bachelor’s Degree: Design, Illustration, Communication Design, Fine Arts, Communications, Journalism or equivalent field

· Relevant experience: 2–4 years (preferably with some agency experience) and an extraordinary portfolio

· Expert proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, but Premiere and After Effects are an added bonus), and MS Office Suite (specifically MS PowerPoint),

MUST HAVES:

· Strong verbal communication skills: The ability to articulate your creative process, thoughts and ideas

· Excellent interpersonal skills: A positive attitude, a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams

· Self-motivation: You can figure it out and get it done

· Team player: Work and play well with others in a fast-paced setting

· Deadline-driven: Experience working on multiple projects at the same time (including organizing and prioritizing workload and working efficiently under deadline-driven pressure)

· Detail oriented: A devotion to accuracy and proper grammar

· Passion for learning: A commitment to keep up with the latest industry trends

· General fluency: Tech industry trends

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work enthusiastically, respectfully and collaboratively with other project team members throughout the project lifecycle, including brainstorms and occasional client meetings

· Acquire competent knowledge of client’s business objectives, brand, culture and landscape to inform insightful design ideas

· Understand the creative direction set forth for each project and develop work that supports that direction

· Develop overall layout and create visuals for digital and mechanical marketing content

· Combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of eBooks, infographics, SlideShares, websites and other forms of marketing material

· Transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams through the use of images, text and color

· Meet with the creative director and account management team to determine the scope of a project

· Design layout, graphics and images for product illustrations, logos, websites, infographics and other marketing material

· Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them

· Manage multiple projects at a time while meeting predetermined deadlines

· Prepare and present designs/illustrations to the Creative Director for instruction and approval

· Present designs to the account management team

· Incorporate appropriate revisions per client and/or team feedback

· Ensure approved designs/illustrations conform to style guides
