What do you get to do in this position?
This position will be an active member of the Manufacturing Execution Systems Squad. They will participant in our Agile transformation as a member of this cross functional team.
This role will have responsibility for developing, deploying and supporting our Manufacturing Executions Systems that are used by our North American Global Supply Chain (GSC) partners. These tools improve our production processes, data, cybersecurity, manufacturing work instruction, serialization and quality processes in our automated assembly lines in numerous GSC factories.
They will work with cross functional Schneider Electric teams to develop and implement software change requests and projects supporting corporate initiatives. Grow and maintaining collaborative working relationships with functional business partners, staying abreast of business strategies and priorities and supporting as needed. Establish relationships with global and regional peers and maintain familiarity with Schneider Digital projects that may impact or integrate with the MES area.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or 5-10 years of applicable work experience.

- MS Visual Studio
- Visual Basic and C#
- SQL stored procedures
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and interfaces to MIS/MES systems
- Experience working with or in support of a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work effectively without direct, on-site, supervision
- Self-starter and team player with high initiative, positive attitude, and strong focus on results
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Excellent English communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to travel to US and Mexico locations as required
