Home & Business Network (HBN) Line of Business (LoB) is under Schneider Electric’s Energy Management Business Secure Power Division. The Software Business Intelligence Manager will play a key role within a dynamic and diverse team where their inputs will help to shape the future of the HBN digitization strategy in our key growth markets.

The position serves as an important role dedicated to producing detailed analysis from consolidated voice of customer and voice of partner interviews, market and competitor intelligence as well as working closely with sales and business teams in all global regions.

The Business Intelligence Manager will also work across functions to help evangelize our software strategy including working with marketing teams on value proposition articulation and positioning to maximize the impact of our overall messaging.

This position provides a great opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of key business activities, including conducting market research and customer VOC analysis to provide business strategic insights, collaborating with offer management to create compelling business cases and roadmaps and working with marketing to influence key messaging and communication.

This position will report to the Global Director of HBN Personal Power and Software Offer Management.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Combine market data and voice of customer research to develop a deep understanding of our customers, discovering customer problems and identifying requirements to meet their needs.
  • Generate detailed customer insights combined with target persona refinement from voice of customer and partner activities.
  • Work in close conjunction with senior business stakeholders to provide input into product roadmaps and future business direction.

  • Act as an SME and evangelist within the company and externally with customers regarding our software management capabilities.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to integrate necessary data sources to support business analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on software value proposition articulation.
  • Work with offer management and user experience teams to ensure insights are clearly translated to create the best offers for our customers.


As this is a broad and exciting role, we are looking for a motivated self-starter who either wants to gain more exposure on their current career trajectory or transition from sales or engineering into a future business role. This position will provide the valuable experience and exposure for either of these ambitions.

The successful candidate has:

  • Degree in software engineering or business.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software sales, engineering or a business role such as marketing or product management. Global working experience is a plus.

  • Top-class English communications skills; both written and oral.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, being able to create business presentations targeting to senior level audience.

  • Excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills.

  • An understanding of software particularly in business or enterprise applications is a plus.

  • Have a strong passion for technology and a customer-driven mindset; being motivated to understand the customer better than anyone else.

  • The ability to travel – domestically and internationally, as needed
