ROLE PURPOSE

As Systems Engineer, for your applicable discipline, you are responsible for the development and improvement of the management systems and tools, contributing to your discipline’s broader goals, to enable the Company to meet its objectives to prevent harm to our people, our asset, the environment and Company reputation and reduce risks for achieving our business objectives, wherever our management systems is applied.

You actively contribute to the promotion of strong leadership and culture across the organization.

ROLE CONTRIBUTION

1. In order to maintain a high-level standard and ensure effective application of the management systems and tools wherever they are applied, you are to:

1.1. Shape and develop the management system and tools, based notably on audit findings and identified gaps revealed through data monitoring and analysis

1.2. Drive continuous improvements to the management system, based on feedback from the Process Owners and Business Owners, aligned with international standards and best practices

For the coming 2-3 years, embed the ISRS requirements in the GEMS processes and follow up the employment of new GEMS requirements arising out of ISRS (action plan follow up). Seek alignment between entities when relevant.

For the coming 2-3 years, provide advise and support on GEMS HSSE requirements as required and more generally on Group HSSE processes and protocols.

1.3. Partner with relevant discipline communities, Process Owners, Business Owners, serving as a key interface to ensure new working procedures and instructions are fit for purpose

1.4. Provide quality checks, analysis and recommendations, based on data provided by Systems Support

1.5. Participate in client pre-qualification and vendor qualification and validation (when required)

1.6. (When applicable) Compile and timely manage the audit plan, conduct audit when applicable, consolidate and report the results at RC and Group level and monitor the implementation of corrective actions. For the coming year, develop and implement governance protocols, plan and perform independent HSSE audits and gate reviews on the Company activities both onshore and offshore.

1.7. Contribute to the Company major incidents prevention. Participate or lead investigations as relevant.

The measure of your effectiveness will be:

 Timely development and implementation of new tools and improvement actions

 Feedback from relevant discipline communities and end users, on ability to implement processes and their quality

 (When applicable) Audit Plan completion versus schedule

 Clarity and quality of the reporting

 Transparent overview on the status of the actions

2. In order to embed a strong leadership and culture, across the organization, you are to:

2.1. Develop a portfolio of training and awareness campaigns for selected discipline’s topics

2.2. Actively contribute to the development and roll-out of campaigns, trainings, processes and tools across the organization

2.3. Act as a focal point for your community
