Description

The Custodial Training Manager will be responsible for developing, organizing the training program, and conducting personal assessments for identified custodial employees as needed to follow all protocols and procedures for the cleaning and maintenance of the customer facility.

Responsibilities 

• Educate custodians and other cleaning personnel on how to perform job duties such as restrooms, breakrooms, lobbies, floor maintenance, etc
• Assess the type of training needed for each employee
• Develop training materials that cover the information in a way that trainees will understand
• Set up and coordinate training schedules for new hires and plan continuous training seminars and workshops for current employees
• Provide and create training manuals that offer instructions about using specific cleaning agents
• Provide video instruction especially with using commercial grade cleaning equipment
• Train new employees in safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Evaluate the effectiveness of each training session through surveys and personnel assessment records
• Give performance feedback to trainee’s and forward to manager
• Assist supervisors with employee communication, and offer advice to employees about job advancement
• Comply with company safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Assist with 4INSITE trainings
• Safety training for supervisors and staff hot line
• Shift flexibility to cover all trainings of staff
• Assist in coverage of a shift as needed
• Provide weekly report to Account Director and Director of Ops.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources 
  One to two years custodial experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of custodial cleaning processes
• Strong understanding of safety rules, policies and procedures 
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Active/Transferable DoD TS Clearance preferred

Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 per year

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM with flexibility to adjust schedule to work on all 3 shifts.
