Job Family: Legal & Corporate Affairs

Responsible for assisting the Regulatory Relations Manager regarding state licensing. The Regulatory Relations Sr. Analyst works closely with business operations and accounting personnel to prepare and submit licensing submissions. The Regulatory Relations Sr. Analyst will work both independently and in conjunction with other members of the Regulatory Relations team.

Job Function: Corporate Governance

The Regulatory Relations Sr. Analyst will work with the Regulatory Relations Manager and team to manage existing licenses, new applications, and related reporting to the states.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting the Regulatory Relations Manager in maintaining state licenses and obtaining new licenses where necessary based on business operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare accurate and complete data/information requests, and coordinate with the business to obtain information in a timely manner.

  • Prepare complete and accurate applications, renewals and related reports and submit to state via mail or electronic portals.

  • Track licenses and submissions to ensure all deadlines are met.

  • Assist with ongoing procedural and control process enhancements.

Other Functions:

Acts as a subject matter expert (SME). Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education – Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Experience – 3-5 years’ of experience in state licensing and/or state regulatory matters.

Skills & Abilities – Understanding of state licensing; ability to quickly learn the Company and lines of business; ability to work effectively and provide accurate information under tight timelines; proficiency with NMLS, Excel and SharePoint.

Strong oral and written communication skills and proven ability to build and cultivate relationships across the Company.
