Samsung Semiconductor, Inc is a world leader in memory, foundry, system LSI, display, and LED technologies. We are currently seeking a Content Development & Communications Manager to join our growing Marketing Communications team. Reporting to the Director of Communications, this role will develop a wide range of compelling internal and external communications including social media content, blogs, thought leadership articles, executive & employee communications, speaking abstracts, and other content.

The ideal candidate will be a creative, versatile and experienced storyteller who can help convey complex technology benefits as well as engage customers and employees through various channels.  This person is highly motivated, extremely organized, and can collaborate well with multiple stakeholders and communication teams across the globe. You will utilize your attention to detail, creativity, and excellent communication and presentation skills to develop, manage, and promote exceptional content on behalf of Samsung Semiconductor.


  • Identify and develop story ideas and collateral in support of the company’s strategic direction, business groups’ go-to-market objectives, and ongoing communications programs and initiatives
  • Partner with leadership teams to create and implement internal communication strategies on key company initiatives and programs for employees
  • Transform complex topics into compelling narratives for multiple audiences
  • Develop topic ideas and copy for a variety external communications, including articles, blog posts, thought leadership content, speaking abstracts, scripts, etc.
  • Develop and implement thoughtful, innovative and engaging internal communications including executive communication, organizational change, departmental updates, corporate citizenship, employee-related event communications and more
  • Work with and influence internal business colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the company to shape stories
  • Research market trends and technology industry to develop content
  • Partner with Communications Director to develop a comprehensive content calendar to maintain and populate content for all external and internal communication channels
  • Ensure accuracy, quality and variety of published content
  • Work with HR and executive team to develop and facilitate company-wide employee communication programs, Glassdoor content, and other programs
  • Drive Glassdoor and corporate citizenship strategy to enrich employee engagement and enhance DSA’s overall brand with customers/partners and prospective candidates.
  • Serve as communication consultant and strategist for our internal clients as needed.



  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field required
  • Minimum 8 years communications experience, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech industry
  • Experience developing communication strategy and narratives
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills
  • Experience with internal communications and employee engagement
  • Demonstrated experience and genuine enthusiasm for collaborating and innovating with peers
  • Proven ability to think creatively and drive execution across multiple channels and audiences
  • A deep interest in understanding the company’s strategy and passion for business and technology
  • Ability to regularly pivot from creative big-idea generation to nitty-gritty details
  • Excellent judgement and a keen sense of what is timely and culturally relevant
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to build and nurture relationships to identify the best stories to tell
  • Ability to work well with people at all levels of an organization, including senior leaders; and work cross-functionally across multiple teams and geographies
  • Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of digital and social technology platforms
  • Experience and enjoyment of fast-moving and agile environments where flexibility is key
  • Outstanding time management and project management skills
  • Demonstrated proactive commitment in evolving communications based on metrics, research and feedback
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in PowerPoint
  • High energy, outgoing, teammate with a “can do” personality. Ability to thrive in a changing environment.
