JOB TITLE: Sr. Mktg Mgr, SoC


We are currently looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting System LSI’s portfolio of semiconductor products, including Exynos Application processors (AP) and Power Management ICs (PMIC). You will help to explore new business opportunities, driving Design-In and Design-Win activities with customers.

We are seeking someone with strong initiative who can promote our chip solutions into top-tier OEMs as well as various other market segments and explore new customer applications. Our products are industry leading and this is a great opportunity to help expand the business and guide our strategic direction.


Business Development - Cultivate an opportunity pipeline of new customers by developing and maintaining relationships with all levels of key customers, ecosystem partners and sales channels. Evangelize SLSI solutions through product training, press events, and other Marcom activities.
Promotion - Prepare roadmap & product presentations and drive customer engagements. Ensure mutual alignment of customer requirements and SLSI solutions and manage customer interactions throughout the evaluation process. Coordinate pricing and business issue discussions, leading to customer Design-in decisions.
Account Management - Guide customers from Design-In to Design-Win phase, ensuring support on all business and technical issues.
Strategy - Research current and future market segment trends. Develop and implement plans for approaching new markets, building internal consensus and partner relationships.
Reporting - Monitor & report on customer status including development & delivery schedule. Compile voice-of-the-customer data for feedback into future product planning.

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering degree).
MBA Strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to comprehend and consider both technical & business information. Exhibit strong customer presentation skills with ability to influence.
Exceptional people skills & an ability to work directly with customers. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines is a must.
Experience across a variety of consumer IoT markets, such as mobile handsets, tablets, notebooks, camera systems, drones, smart home, wearables, embedded systems, etc. Automotive market experience also highly desirable.
Mobile SoC architecture and power management background. Experience with ARM based SoCs, system architecture, platform HW/SW, Modem, and Wi-Fi Connectivity is highly desirable.
Understanding of various mobile processors IP blocks and sub-systems, e.g. Display, Camera/ISP, Video codec, etc.
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Willingness to travel overnight up to 20%
