Join our Audio Team! RUN Studios is seeking A1 level audio engineers to work with different forms of sound, including live production mixing, recording, and voice-over work. The Audio Engineer’s goal is to capture, create, control, improve, route, and deliver sound to specification. We are seeking support for our team working with our corporate partners in Redmond on a project-based, contract basis. To accommodate various productions, flexible work hours will be needed at times.

The audio engineer (A1) partners with our internal team and additional contract support to accomplish events. Events include (but are not limited to) live production, webcasts, satellite media tours, virtual events, voice-over recording, and remote location support. Events can range in time from 5 hours to multiple weeks.

As an Audio Engineer (A1), You Will

  • Create a finished product (audio deliverable) that adheres to client and FCC deliverable specifications
  • Meet with clients, artists, musicians, and producers to ensure clear understanding of needs and expectations; assists with project planning; attends pre-production meetings as required
  • Build consoles and sessions per the requirements of each project
  • May need to record, manipulate, and edit digital audio on occasion
  • Insert/create special sound effects
  • Monitor and maintain signal integrity to provide the highest quality audio during recording sessions and live events
  • Operate broadcasting equipment (audio consoles, intercom systems, wireless devices, PA systems)
  • On occasion, operates field recording (ENG) equipment
  • Demonstrate optimal microphone technique in both live and studio sessions
  • Positively represents the audio team when working with clients
  • Help to maintain audio equipment and facilities; contributes to production readiness
  • Contribute to workflow by suggesting improvements

Compensation

Pay Range: $55.00 - $80.00 (Hourly)

The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
