I guess the clinical answer would be something like: The Creative Director is responsible for the overall excellence of the agency’s creative product.

The Dirty Deets:

  • Direct the creative product at the agency and strive for excellence in everything from strategy to concept to execution.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the creative product, from copy & art to interactive media & innovation.
  • Work closely with our Brand & Insights team to solve marketing problems through smart, strategically-crafted work.
  • Manage the creative team with a servant-leader mind set, helping to develop their craft.
  • Work closely with HR to build and maintain a roster of exceptional freelance talent.
  • Work closely with HR on the hiring and termination of full-time staff when needed.
  • Deliver work that is not only mind-blowing, but also consistently on-time and profitable.
  • Present work with passion and an entertainer’s flare.
  • Work with team on resource allocation to keep people engaged and not burnt out.
  • Publish thought-leadership both internally and externally, and take part in public forums to represent the agency
