People & Culture Generalist

  • Supports employees by answering questions, providing information and referring them to appropriate staff as needed to provide exemplary customer service to all employees and applicants
  • Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing with empathy and care
  • Administers benefits orientation to eligible employees insuring on-time enrollment
  • Manages the onboarding process for new hires to include set up in H.R. Management system and establishing the orientation schedule.
  • Prepares schedule for onboarding and orientation
  • Oversees intern program from interviewing, hiring, onboarding to exit
  • Recommends policy and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the HR department
  • Advise and coach managers on HR policies and programs including employee relations issues

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in HR or business or related field required.
PHR or SPHR certification is extremely preferable. 
Minimum of 5 years experience as an H.R. generalist, strong experience in ER, HRIS, Compensation, Compliance, Onboarding/Offboarding and Benefits.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communications skills. 
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. 
Ability to organize work and set priorities, working independently.
