R&R Partners seeks a Senior PR Account Executive who is a dynamic & motivated leader, successfully managing client relationships. At least five years of experience in PR, social media skills and prior experience with an advertising agency. Excellent organizational skills, work ethic and team attitude are critical. You will need to be open to working nights/weekends with client events.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains direct, day-to-day leadership of accounts.
  • Develops and implements strategic public relations program for the client(s) including positioning, strategy, goals and tactics.
  • Leads the planning process.
  • Writes reporter pitches and press releases.
  • Writes social media community and contributes to social media community management.
  • Keeps apprised of all relevant client and market developments.
  • Works within the agency integration model to ensure Public Relations team is working effectively with Account Management and other departments.
  • Fully evaluates accounts for maximum profitability.
  • Continually seeks to improve public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Responsible for communicating and supporting agency decisions, policies, and changes.
  • Seeks business opportunities with new and existing clients and plays a supportive role in their development.
  • Is familiar with overall agency goals and able to cross-sell the various disciplines of marketing.

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Understands and abides by the agency’s business practices and philosophies as well as understand R&R’s policies and procedures.

 Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or equivalent experience in a public relations environment. Minimum five years in public relations. Demonstrated strategic thinker. Demonstrated leadership ability with strong traditional and new media skills. Must submit writing samples and may be required to take a writing test. Must have effective interpersonal skills. Self-motivated. Computer literate.
