Situated directly across the river from Washington D.C., Our Team is made up of individuals in Sales & Marketing, Executive Management, Marketing, Research, Financial Planning & Analysis, HR, Finance, Legal, and Product Development. The office itself is modern, spacious and open—in addition to being conveniently located one block from the Washington Metro Rail system. Full-length windows offer employees in Rosslyn an impressive view of Georgetown and the Washington Monument. The atmosphere in Rossyln is relaxed, with cruises down the Potomac River and wine-and-cheese parties that regularly occur. The staff here knows how to celebrate a job well done.
The Austin office opened in February 2013. It is centrally located, and is just three blocks from the State Capitol. Austin was once a sleepy college town for the University of Texas, but has rapidly become one of the largest technology cities in the United States. Rosetta Stone opened the office to capture the top- tier technology talent. The office is comprised of Product Managers, Human Resources, Sales and Information Technology professionals. The Austin office has a very laid back and easy-going feel. The office is surrounded by windows, sweeping around its entirety that show spectacular views of the state capitol from one side, and vibrant scenes of downtown life from the other. In addition to being a technology hub, Austin is the "live music capitol of the world" and home to country music legend, Willie Nelson. Every year, Austin hosts SXSW (South by Southwest), the F1 Race, and the wildly popular ACL Festival. The slogan for Austin is "Keep Austin Weird", which demonstrates the diversity of the people who live there. Austin prides itself on its small town feel, even though the city is currently the 11th largest in the US and consistently appears on "Best Places to Live" lists.
The Boulder office was established as an extension of Rosetta Stone Labs to explore and develop speech technologies that are an integral part of Rosetta Stone learning products. The major goal of this team is to provide the most enjoyable and effective speech experience to maximize learning outcomes. Additionally, the Boulder office is a center of innovation in the field of speech processing, analysis and recognition, because of this, this ensures the leadership of Rosetta Stone in providing learning solutions. The focus is on problem-driven scientific exploration to find new ways of creating effective product features and functionalities for learning. To achieve this goal, the office actively collects, annotates and analyzes speech data and improves product experience by exploiting data using state-of-the-art.
Rosetta Stone acquired Lexia Learning Systems on August 1st, 2013. Lexia is in located in Concord, MA. It seems fitting to have the reading education company’s offices in the same locale as the home of some of the United States greatest authors; Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Louisa May Alcott to name a few. On both main driving thoroughfares and a local commuter train stop, Lexia is close enough to the action, but without the crowds or costly parking. Lexia is in close proximity to Boston and Cambridge and other surrounding towns. It is also walking distance to the pleasant downtown of West Concord which has funky, unique stores and dining establishments. Lexia draws expertise from the many local colleges and universities while earning a strong reputation in the development and research of reading education programs.
Harrisonburg is the home to most of the Creative Services, Product Development, Sales, Customer Contact Center, Accounting, IT, and HR teams. Simply said, Harrisonburg is the heartbeat of Rosetta Stone. The downtown Harrisonburg building was built in 1904. Originally, the building was the storage warehouse for a seed manufacturer until it was purchased in 2001 by Rosetta Stone. In the office there are dry-erase walls and century-old bricks—a fun contrast that demonstrates this office’s small town values coupled with its innovative business practices. The building embodies innovation and reinvention. Our cutting-edge learning software emerges from the heart of the historic Shenandoah Valley.
The Seattle office is home to Livemocha, a dynamic online language learning community acquired by Rosetta Stone in 2013. It is located in the heart of downtown Seattle. The office features panoramic vistas of Puget Sound, and is steps away from Pike Place Market and other urban attractions. The team members include Product Managers, Marketing, Business Development and Analytics. This dedicated crew is hard at work. However, there’s always time for ping pong throw-downs or a cup of coffee!
