Description

Rödl & Partner is seeking qualified candidates for an Audit Associate to join our international public accounting practice in our Charlotte, NC office. The preferred start date for this position is January 2025 (preferably, candidates must have finalized their education by this date to be available full-time). You will work with a select team providing auditing and tax services to predominately US-Inbound International Businesses (primarily German/European) in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Candidates must be available full-time

What you will do:
·       Perform audit engagements in a variety of industries concentrating on manufacturing and distribution
·       Perform technical accounting research on a variety of accounting topics
·       Provide timely and high-quality services and deliverables that exceed client expectations
·       Prepare clear, concise workpapers and other communications
·       Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development opportunities
What you need to bring:
·       0-2 years of professional experience including experience in public accounting 
·       BA/BS degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation
·       CPA license or similar certification preferred or currently working to obtain CPA license (preferred to have 150 hours completed to sit for the exam)
·       CCH Axcess experience
·       ProSystem fx Engagement experience
