Description

We are seeking a Tax Associate to join our team in our Atlanta, GA office. In this role, you will provide services to predominately US-Inbound International Businesses (primarily German/European) in our Manufacturing & Distribution group. What you will do:   

  • Prepare Federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
  • Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of income tax provisions
  • Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal, state, and international tax topics
  • Collaborate with tax specialists on complex tax issues
  • Assist with the completion of tax returns and related client correspondence
  • Deliver timely and high-quality services that exceed client expectations
  • Maintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction

Desired Skills & Experience:  

  • 0 – 2 years of professional Federal and state income tax experience
  • Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation preferred but not required
  • CPA license or similar foreign certification (or currently working to obtain)
  • Excellent research, writing and communication skills in English
  • Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Desirable  Qualifications:  

  • Experience with partnership taxation
  • Experience with inbound international taxation
  • Experience in public accounting
  • German language is a plus, but not required
  • CCH Axcess Tax experience
