Senior Tax Manager
Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our international public accounting practice, Rödl & Partner, in our Atlanta, Georgia office. Your responsibilities will focus on tax mainly corporate and partnership tax compliance and related consulting related to a broad range of domestic tax issues of U.S.-based foreign-owned subsidiaries. The ideal candidate should have experience with international inbound topics and related compliance.
What you will do:
Successful candidates will have diverse tax experience including exposure to the following areas of tax:
- Federal tax compliance for foreign-owned corporations, foreign-owned partnerships, and foreign disregarded entities
- State and local tax compliance for the same.
- Evaluate and comply with the reporting requirements related to U.S. tax treaties, FATCA, foreign withholding, foreign tax credits, etc.
- The international tax practice at Rödl & Partner is unique in that you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tax issues as they relate to our client base of mostly foreign-owned companies and foreign individuals.
- You will have a great deal of autonomy but will work in a team environment.

What you need to bring:
- 10+ years of tax experience with a regional/national CPA firm.
- Bachelors or Masters in Taxation, or similar program from an accredited college/university.
- CPA
- Independent, yet able to interface with practice leaders to assure the best possible results for clients.
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- People-oriented and willing to train, motivate and develop staff.
- Strong planning, research, writing, and communication skills.
- Occasional international travel required.
