Position Summary:
Rodan + Fields Beauty is seeking an FP&A Manager, Innovation & Growth, to play a critical role in driving financial rigor across innovation initiatives and strategic growth opportunities. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to model, evaluate, and track financial performance for new product introductions (NPI) and retail expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen and proven experience in innovation processes within the beauty industry, combined with expertise in retail and go-to-market strategies, ensuring sound decision-making and long-term value creation. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions and shape the future of our innovation pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive financial discipline through all stages of the innovation process, from concept to launch.
  • Partner with innovation teams to model future initiatives and calculate Net Present Value (NPV) for each project; perform post-launch tracking against original goals.
  • Independently lead financial modeling and analysis through individual gate stages.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning on innovation forecasting and scenario planning.
  • Work with Commercial Marketing and Innovation teams on feasibility, cannibalization estimates, and financial calculations.
  • Support strategic planning and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes for innovation pipeline.
  • Lead the forecast review of growth initiatives versus actual performance, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions to achieve targets.
  • Support key drivers of the S&OP process, ensuring revenue targets are aligned with trackable KPIs and business objectives.
  • Model demand scenarios for retail initiatives and other growth opportunities.
  • Provide insights into financial performance through accurate, timely, and relevant reporting; interpret and clearly communicate results, trends, and risks to senior management.
  • Conduct and document moderate-to-complex financial, business, profitability, and cost analyses; present findings to support decision-making.
  • Maintain and continuously improve processes supporting financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA strongly preferred).
Experience:
  • 5+ years in FP&A with a focus on innovation, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
  • 3+ years supporting Go-To-Market (GTM) / New Product Introduction (NPI) launches and gate stage processes.
  • Direct experience in DTC GTM strategies and execution.
  • Nice to have: Experience in pricing analysis and working with Specialty Beauty Retailers and Amazon.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $88,800 - $148,000 
  
The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, to geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Rodan + Fields’ total compensation package for employees.
