Sr. Information Security Engineer

Information Technology Noida, India

The Regional Information Security Manager will work closely with the local functional teams to ensure that information system controls and monitoring systems are operating effectively to prevent, detect and respond to cyber-criminal threats and other risks to corporate information (IT) and operational technologies (OT).

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Work with regional partners to conduct audits and address compliance requirements related to information security across all platforms and projects
  • Coordinate with cross functional business partners to proactively identify, mitigate and manage operational risks
  • Support the appropriate application of policies control standards and procedures
  • Participate in key business projects within the region to assure that security standards are maintained while meeting the business requirements
  • Coordinate and manage security issues and incidents within the region for escalation or handoff to ensure a follow-the-sun support and response model
  • Prepare, coordinate and conduct security training courses and site risk assessments
  • Partner with functional teams and IT peers to ensure information security controls meet intended security objectives
  • Partner with the Facilities team to ensure all offices have appropriate security coverage
  • Develop and implement effective local policies and procedures to ensure processes and procedures are in place to deal with a wide variety of Security and Business Continuity situations

 

Resume Qualifications:

  • 10 years of IT Management experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the Information Security Field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or other relevant field of study
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) a plus
  • Demonstrable experience in the following: GDPR, SOC2, C5 & ISO27001:2013 controls, auditing, risk management, project management, and business process management
  • Experience conducting threat and risk assessments highly preferred 
  • Working knowledge of access control security systems and technology highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to security, safety, and sensitive situations
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Document risks that has been identified, assign risk owner, and manage the risk until it is closed or mitigated.
  • Knowledge of conducting and managing vendor risk assessment program
