Office Manager Support Associate

RiskSpan is seeking an office management support associate to work onsite at our headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. The candidate will interact primarily with the Operations/Digital Marketing Manager, as well as colleagues from associate to executive level. This role requires a commitment of 20-30 hours, strong communication skills, flexibility, reliability, responsiveness, and time management skills. He/she will be given weekly priorities guided primarily by the Operations Manager/Digital Marketing Manager on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling ad-hoc requests, projects and shifting priorities.


  • Meet with Operations and Digital Marketing Manager weekly to discuss priorities
  • Submit weekly supply list to operations manager
  • Keep kitchen and office supplies stocked constantly and manage recycling programs
  • Ship materials to finance, company staff, conferences, and external clients
  • Assist with research for events such as conferences, and facilitate tasks according to direction
  • Maintain high standards regarding the office upkeep and maintenance (cleanliness, etc.)
  • Facilitate and oversee office projects and execution with management or building personnel
  • Place meal orders, reservations, happy hours, and other event scheduling
  • Conduct research for management and operations
  • Monitor and maintain parking validation passes for the office
  • Work on presentations as directed
  • Assist with digital printing/marketing materials from FedEx/Kinkos


  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Teams (not required)
  • Great communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Self-starter, who is comfortable with asking questions and making recommendations
  • Must be able to work onsite (required)
  • Dependable
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Be able to drop off and pick up materials that are outside of walking distance from the office
