Java Front end Developer

Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust, well-tested web applications using Java, JSF, Primefaces, AgGrid, Highcharts, HTML, and JavaScript. (Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices is a plus!)
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into user-centric designs.
  • Implement responsive web design principles to ensure applications function flawlessly across all devices and browsers.
  • Integrate front-end components with back-end services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and unit-testable code using Junit/Selenium or similar frameworks.
  • Work closely with development teams to identify and solve technical challenges.
  • Track and troubleshoot defects using standard tools.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, design practices, and software development methodologies.
  • Recommend improvements to current products and engineering practices based on your technical expertise.
  • Report progress regularly and adhere to project timelines.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience developing and deploying front-end web applications on modern frameworks.
  • Proven experience with the web development lifecycle, data layer integration, and end-to-end performance tuning.
  • Experience with Java, JSF is must
  • Experience with Primefaces, AgGrid, Highcharts technologies is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of web development concepts including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD) is a plus.
  • Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility is a must.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education, Certifications, and Subject Matter Expertise:   
  • Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology Degree.
  • Expertise in front-end web development best practices, specific front-end frameworks named below, and test-driven development (TDD) techniques.
