PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVE: 
Seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to bolster our finance team, providing insightful financial accounting, analysis, and planning support. The candidate should be adept at applying business and financial acumen across various company levels, driving data-driven strategies, and interacting effectively with diverse teams. 
 
Work Location is Flexible - Hybrid Telecommuting is preferred OR Remote 
 
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Lead the development and refinement of complex financial models to forecast business performance and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Spearhead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with corporate goals.
  • Drive financial optimization by analyzing performance, identifying trends, and recommending action plans.
  • Produce and analyze dashboard reports, ensuring data accuracy and process improvement across functions.
  • Manage and report on departmental expenses, providing guidance to budget owners.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, providing actionable insights on revenue streams, cost optimization, and investment opportunities.
  • Oversee the production and analysis of monthly financial reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and drawing attention to critical financial trends and variances.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects to support broader business initiatives, such as cost reduction programs or capital investment evaluations.
  • Act as a finance liaison for interdepartmental initiatives, ensuring financial considerations are at the forefront of project planning and execution.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned to facilitate sound business decisions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field with demonstrable financial experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience, with a proven track record in data analysis and financial statement impacts.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and team collaboration.
  • CPA or CMA Certification is a plus.
  • Military experience is advantageous.
  • U.S. Government Authorization required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Office-based role with some travel required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.
  • Hybrid telecommuting eligible.
  • If remote, travel is required to the Vermont location.
