Facility Supervisor / Monday-Friday / 30 hours per week / $50,250 - $$60,000
PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
The Facility Supervisor has overall responsibility for building infrastructure, supervising grounds work, and general facility care. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted service of all plant operations and maintaining a safe, comfortable working environment for all employees.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, plan, and organize Facility Team Member activities in support of general facility repair, service, and grounds keeping.
- Oversee the operation and service of building systems, including HVAC, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical infrastructure.
- Ownership of the roadmap for future facility requirements to ensure safety and continuous operations.
- Ability to perform or oversee basic electrical and plumbing installation and repair work.
- Determine and maintain facility supplies and infrastructure inventories.
- Management of general contractors on facilities expansion, modification, and repair work.
- Participate in company safety, cost-saving, and environmental initiatives.
- On-call during weekends and nights during plant operations for facility-related emergencies.
- Report and manage compliance issues with local, state, and federal regulations, including fire systems and other inspections required by law.
- Support development of training programs to ensure facility compliance with regulations and performance standards.
- Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements
- Two year technical certification in relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5–7 years of facility management experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of repair and service of industrial HVAC systems required.
- Proven mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aptitude.
- Experience in managing facility expansion and modification construction projects.
- Ability to work safely at varying heights throughout the facility.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building specifications.
- Self-motivated and ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
- U.S. Government Authorization required.
Work environment (include physical requirements)
- Office and manufacturing environments, some repetitive motion required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing required.
- Minimal travel may occur periodically in support of specific initiatives
