Truck Driver

Summary:
Responsible for safely and efficiently operating and driving trucks/vehicles to support operations at the project site.
Requirements:
- Operates vehicles and/or equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Loads and unloads truck to and from job site, may involve heavy lifting.
- Inspects site to ensure safe environment to load and unload.
- Compliant with site policies and safety procedures.
- Reports any accidents and/or injuries immediately.
- For DOT drivers:
- Performs all required DOT inspections and complies with other regulatory DOT requirements by adhering to state and federal laws and regulations.
Safety:
- Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working.
- Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
- Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.
- Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
- Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.
- Follows technical, quality and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.
- Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action.
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in the construction field.
- Maintain a clear motor vehicle record (MVR) according to DOT and company standards.
- Maintain a proper license and/or CDL that is in good standing:
- Class A license
- Class B license
- DOT license
- Tanker endorsements a plus.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to operate and drive a vehicle/truck.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately.
- Ability to work on different types of terrain.
Anticipated Range: $22.00 - $27.00
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
Per Diem of $100.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.

Occasionally: Crouching, kneeling, pinching, sitting, and stooping are required.
Frequently: Carrying pulling, pushing and lifting 30-50lbs, climbing, grasping, gripping, handling, reaching, standing and walking are required.
Constantly: Reading, hearing, vision, and repetitive motions are required.
Occasionally exposed to extreme cold and wet environments in the working environment
Frequently exposed to extreme heat, humidity, noise, hazards and vibration in the working environment.
