Red Fuse is looking for a smart, strategic Associate Account Director for our Global Professional team based in NYC.   

This team is responsible globally for marketing Colgate Palmolive professional and consumer oral care brands to the Dental professionals, with heavy focus creative concept work across multiple platforms. Campaigns developed by this team are launched worldwide (North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia). Consider this "lite pharma".

This is a responsible position reporting directly to the Global Client Leader, working with top level clients and Red Fuse Regional teams worldwide.  

 

Responsibilities

Strategy/Planning and Creative 

  • Assist the Global Client Leader in developing overall global brand strategies and is typically directly responsible, in collaboration with Global Brand Strategist for the development of strategies/briefs for specific global initiatives
  • Oversee creative and production information flow between Global Marketing client and regional hubs
  • Contribute to Client strategic planning process as appropriate, developing and overseeing inputs such as reporting of regional advertising programs and global competitive response
  • Direct, review, and contribute to the preparation of Brand Reviews  
  • During creative development and testing, ensure all materials are prepared in a timely fashion

Production

  • Ensure that quality standards are met for all the Client’s creative needs
  • Allow AEs/AAEs to directly manage production process and budget and oversee work
  • Ensure Creative reflects Client’s and the business’ needs and is accurate
  • Ensure Production specification meet Client expectations and Agency standards
  • Resolve client issues are resolved to satisfaction of Client and internal groups

Finance

  • Fiscally responsible by remaining aware of the scope/budget associated with each project
  • Oversee annual scope-of-work process with Client  

Integration/Talent Management

  • Coordinate with Red Fuse partners on developing/optimizing integrated communications, and/or other Client partners (other Agencies, research suppliers, media vendors)

Client/Marketing

  • Participate in Client product core teams or marketing task forces
  • Coordinate/participate in brainstorming sessions to further Client’s business
  • Attend focus groups and marketing research presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 6+ years experience in account management in advertising agency
  • Experience working on integrated 360 campaigns, digital experience important
  • Experience in HCP or consumer pharma preferred
  • Strong Strategic thinking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience establishing solid relationships with senior Client management
  • Global perspective, exposure or interest in different cultures a plus
