Summary |
The Company is seeking a PAID Summer 2024 intern to support EPC (Engineering, Procurement, & Construction) efforts on the Construction Management team. This position will be specifically supporting construction efforts across a pipeline of projects targeting wholesale power markets in North America. The internship will cover the Summer term and is flexible with start/end dates; including opportunity to extend on a part-time basis into the fall semester/quarter! This internship is an opportunity to join an industry-leading team to help drive management decision making and grow the business. |
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Areas |
- Managing Internal Meetings by taking meeting minutes and distributing the minutes to internal and external parties as needed.
- Managing Sub-contractor RFIs and Submittals
- Working directly with the design team and coordinating submittal package submission internally and externally.
- Monitor progress of construction projects and ensure conformance to contract and help the Project Manager in preparing the PM reports with respect to cost, schedule, risk, logistics, performance, etc.
- Assist in document management from EPCs.
- Assist the PM/CM with their list of duties.
- Organize the documents in E-Builder per the project requirements and be on top of the document structure as needed.
- Coordinate with the Owners Engineer on the requirements as needed and provide the support to the entire project team.
- Work on collecting documents for the Independent Engineer along with manuals, instructions, safety docs.

- Interfaces with third-party engineering service providers and subcontractors.

Requirements | |
Knowledge & Skills - Demonstrated interest in a career in renewable energy & either construction, project management, or asset development.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Project, Word, & PowerPoint
- Experience with Primavera P6 v7,or Microsoft Project a plus.
| Abilities - Strong quantitative aptitude with an extremely high level of attention to detail and a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of work product.
- Excellent personal organizational skills.
- Highly resourceful and comfortable working in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment.
| Experience & Education - Minimum of at least 2 years of coursework working toward a Bachelor’s degree or any amount of coursework experience working towards a Graduate or MBA degree.
- Pursuing degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field is desired.
