Job Title:  Junior Insurance Analyst

Department: Insurance Team

Location: Austin, TX 

Reports To: Sr Global Insurance Manager

 

Position Summary:
 

The primary role of the Junior Insurance Analyst is to provide support on chasing and uploading documentation from other Teams, preparing CRF's or helping with any other internal process, as well as participating in any project follow-up meetings. The Junior Insurance Analyst will also assist in all insurance processes occurring during the entire lifespan of a project (design, development, finance, construction & operation).  

Responsibilities:

  • Insurance Policy/Contract Analysis
  • Working with Cross-Teams to fully understand the projects and information
  • Assisting Teams on insurance-related topics/questions 
  • Follow up on projects among their lifespan
  • Assist Sr Insurance Manager on annual renewals, risk mitigation, insurance placement
  • Prepare presentations & trainings
  • Assist the Teams on Claims Management & Follow up
  • Assist on any internal process (payments, approval, documentation storage ..)
     

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tight timelines.
  • Effective in managing multiple tasks at the same time and within cross-functional team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Risk Management.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in risk, claims, or insurance.
  • Good understanding of the major lines of insurance including but not limited to Property, Liability, and Management Liability.
  • High level of professionalism, results-oriented, organized, highly motivated, and detailed.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, multi-task, and strong analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy, and excellent abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint and PowerPoint.

  • Bilingual is an asset (English and Spanish)
