RPG Research and Insights Associate
Description
The Research & Insights Associate analyzes media (earned and social), audience and competitive trends, and consolidates information into actionable insights.
The Research & Insights Associate reports to the Research & Insights Director.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate marketing and business goals into research plans
- Collaborate with account teams to develop measurement and reporting plans
- Interpret data and research reports, and share insights with teams across the agency
- Develop and present client-ready presentations
- Balance priorities and work simultaneously on multiple projects
- Facilitate knowledge sharing with teams across the agency to infuse research best practices into work and improve internal tools, methodologies and processes
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong background in quantitative methodologies, market research, communications or behavioral sciences (e.g., Market Research, Statistics, Psychology, Behavioral Economics/Decision Sciences, etc.)
- Experience in communications, public relations, marketing or other relevant industries (consulting, professional services, nonprofit, etc.)
- Strong conceptual understanding of research & analytics methods
- Ability to draw insights from data and communicate them in a compelling way
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently
- Proactive, self-starter attitude; comfortable with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities and needs
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to master social and media conversation analysis tools such as Quid and Netbase
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
