Quotient is looking for a Corporate Development Associate/Senior Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to join as a key member of our active Corp. Dev. team. In this role, you will work collaboratively across functions to identify and evaluate both acquisition opportunities and strategic initiatives, providing the senior management team with the needed insight to drive meaningful, transformative initiatives with tangible results. This position reports to the VP of Corporate Development, in Mountain View, CA, and offers great exposure and skill development in M&A sourcing, execution and integration, as well as general business operations within a successful, publicly-traded technology company with substantial growth potential.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build detailed financial models and other analyses with data driven assumptions to evaluate business scenarios and revenue opportunities/risks against investment
  • Source new potential acquisitions and strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with Executives and the Corporate Development team in strategy development and execution of acquisitions and other strategic initiatives
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and assist in building relationships with key players in the industry
  • Own various presentations that follow a data-supported approach, allowing executives and Board members to understand detailed analyses in the context of an overarching business case
  • Work with internal teams including Sales/GTM, HR, Accounting, Finance, Operations and Product/Engineering, and the Senior Management of potential acquisition candidates to conduct diligence and develop integration plans
  • Help manage post-acquisition integration by ensuring that cross-functional teams are all executing on their respective M&A integration plans

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree from a leading institution
  • 2-4+ years relevant work experience within a top-tier investment bank, strategy consulting firm, venture capital/private equity firm or corporate development/strategy department
  • Strong financial analysis and valuations skills
  • Team player with outstanding communication skills and common sense
  • Highly proficient with Excel and advanced PowerPoint
  • High aptitude to learn quickly, assimilate to new teams and projects, and work well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong work ethic, proven sense of ownership and ability to successfully complete projects
