Based upon the attached position description, the following are the requirements for the above listed position:

What Is Done
Offbears raw materials and sorts according to rip size. Inspects for quality and communicates with ripsaw operator and others upon recognizing a quality concern or problem.
Performs defecting duties, including sorting and chopping materials as necessary, to maximize rip and moulder yields. Maintains process flow by routing products to next station.
Interprets customer specs and stacks according to length. Wraps and bands according to customer specs.
Essential Physical and Mental Requirements
Physical: (sitting, walking, climbing, lifting, etc.)
Working with mechanical parts and machines. Working in dusty environment. Working with oils and solvents. Any hazardous chemical exposure is specifically defined on accessible safety data sheets. Balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, and repetitive motions.
Will be continuously moving up to 10 lbs; frequently move up to 20 lbs;, rarely moving up to 50 lbs. Assistance from others is available for handling material over 50 pounds.
Sensory: (visual, hearing, speaking, smell, etc.)
Feeling, seeing, hearing, speaking, eye and hand coordination.
Mental: (reading, writing, reasoning, analyzing, learning, etc.)
Skill in reading a tape measure, and problem solving.
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Incumbent offbears hardwood raw materials by rip size and moulding products customer specifications and defects products as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education/Experience, Skills) Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
