The Senior Sales Communications and Enablement Manager Role

 

Qlik is looking for a Senior Sales Communications and Enablement Manager to strategize and execute internal communications, manage/support internal events, coordinate logistics for training classes, and own the content management strategy for Sales.  This individual contributor will ensure that our Sales colleagues are informed with a clear & consistent voice, have easy access to the up-to-date information they need, and have positive Sales enablement experiences.

 

This role is perfect for you if you are a self-starter that is passionate about effectively enabling Sales colleagues with information.  The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong communication (written and verbal), presentation design, and content management skills.  This role will work collaboratively with our Corporate Communications team, Sales Leadership, Sales Enablement, Sales Compensation, and other departments.

 

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

Sales Communications

  • Define the overall internal Sales Communications strategy to support Sales objectives and initiatives, maximize effectiveness, and avoid information overload.
  • Strategize, author, and execute individual internal Sales communications from Sales leadership, Sales Enablement, Sales Compensation, etc. as needed. Ensure that these communications contain the information Sales needs to be effective and can be quickly digested by Sales.
  • Strategize, author, and execute a weekly Sales newsletter for all Sales colleagues for non-urgent communications.  Collect, edit, and and collate topics for this newsletter from departments in and outside of Sales to ensure the newsletter is informative and effective.
  • Act as a virtual member of the Corporate Communications team representing Sales to ensure alignment with Corporate Communications initiatives and consistency in messaging & branding.

 

Internal Sales Events

  • Emcee and manage the agenda, logistics, and technology for Sales Town Halls and other internal Sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Enablement to plan and execute Sales Kickoff events.
  • Assist Sales Leadership in creating engaging presentations for Sales Town Halls and other internal meetings as needed.

 

 

Sales Training Coordination

  • Manage logistics for live and virtual Sales training initiatives, including room/Zoom reservations, attendee registrations, catering (as needed), communications (invitations, reminders), etc.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of Sales enablement initiatives through attendance tracking and post-training surveys.
  • Own and manage the Global Sales Enablement inbox.  Reply to all inbound emails or route them to the appropriate colleague to ensure follow-up.

 

Sales Content Management

  • Define and execute the content management strategy for Sales content on Qlik’s internal websites and SharePoint.  Define the file/page structure for Sales content to ensure optimal access by Sales colleagues.  Post new Sales content as available. Ensure that posted Sales content is reviewed by SMEs periodically and updated/removed as appropriate.
  • Publish Sales Enablement training replays and related material to MindTickle.
  • Own and manage the Sales Communications calendar and Sales Enablement calendar to provide organizational awareness.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Communications or Marketing, with 3+ years at a B2B software vendor.  Experience in managing internal Sales communications a plus.
  • 3+ years experience in content management (file structure, experience/refresh policy, etc) for Sales.  SharePoint and/or MindTickle experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages. Experience with Staffbase is a plus.
  • Strong authoring skills for executive-level presentations. Superior PowerPoint skills are a plus.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and high organization skills.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Flexibility to adjust to new demands on the fly.
  • Highly collaborative style with strong influence skills and attention to detail.
  • Change management experience is a plus.

  • USA – Eastern Time Zone (King of Prussia, PA – Waltham, MA or Remote)
  • USA – Central Time Zone (Remote)

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000 – 175,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
