The R&D Customer First Tech Lead role

 

Join the Qlik R&D Customers First team as a seasoned tech lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in improving product release quality and enhancing the overall customer experience. As part of a global team, you'll leverage your expertise in Data Integration development and architecture to drive key serviceability enhancements and ensure customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

  • Impactful Initiatives: Undertake initiatives to enhance product support, diagnose issues, and improve the overall customer experience, making a direct impact on the success of Qlik's products in the field.
  • Global Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments within R&D, including pre-sales, support, and solution architects, to address customer escalations and drive improvements in product quality and support processes.
  • Customer Advocacy: Represent the voice of the customer during the product release process, ensuring that customer feedback is incorporated into software development and release sign-off decisions.

 

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

  • Active Customer Escalations: Investigate customer escalations, determine root causes, and coordinate solutions with extended R&D and support teams, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Develop and coordinate training sessions for customer support and pre-sales teams, facilitating knowledge transfer and ensuring alignment with customer success processes.
  • Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance system logging, alarming, diagnostics, and Quality Engineering processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives across R&D.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Collaborate with Customer-First leaders, solution architects, and presales teams to adopt best engineering practices and address top customer issues effectively.
  • Customer Advocacy: Occasionally travel to customer sites as a customer advocate, gathering feedback and sharing insights with internal teams to drive product improvements.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Extensive Knowledge of Cloud technologies is required.
  • Knowledge in one or more cloud environments: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Extensive knowledge of Talend Offerings/Products
  • Extensive knowledge of Application Servers, Eclipse, and Java
  • Knowledge in one or more: Snowflake, Databricks, and Google BigQuery.
  • Knowledge in one or more cloud environments: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on Technical Managerial experience in managing and coordinating a team of technical experts.
  • Other Database(s), an asset.
  • Deep Troubleshooting and communication skills with proven experience of more than 3 years, required.
  • Windows and Linux platforms.

 

The location for this role is:

 

France (Suresnes, Nantes or Remote)
