The Business Analyst Role 

  

Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) are integral to bridging the gap between our business stakeholders and the IT teams by building cross functional relationships. They incorporate elements of project and change management in the day-to-day business operations. They have a technical understanding of the Salesforce platform and how its core capabilities impact other integrations and data management. This understanding allows them to clearly digest and analyze business requirements to ensure detailed technical requirements are ready for feature development and ultimately, propel our business needs forward.

Business Systems Analysts function as a seamless liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to support business operations. A BSA demonstrates ownership of technology implementation from initial business requirements to final production releases and uses a proactive approach to ensure end to end quality during the development lifecycle. They approach each project pragmatically with a drive to solve problems, translate business requirements to technical requirements effortlessly and with consistent clear communication cross functionally. A BSA uses critical thinking to make decisions even when faced with ambiguity.  

  

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact: 

  

  • Business requirement gathering and management of related technical requirements
  • Ownership of business outcomes through quality testing (QA and UAT)
  • Documenting system processes and technical solutions
  • Relationship building with business stakeholders and IT development teams
  • Possessing a clear understanding of project disciplines around the development lifecycle
  • Communicating and documenting changes through development to ensure full adoption

  

We’re looking for a teammate with: 

  

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst (or equivalent role)
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud
  • CPQ experience preferred
  • Additional preferred system experience: Jira, SQL/SOQL, NetSuite and FinancialForce
  • Clear written and presentation communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements
  • Demonstrated command of working cross functionally

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $100,000 – 120,000 USD per yearFinal compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
